Caves
Grottes de Medous, discovered in 1948, the upper chamber contains remarkable formations; stalactites, stalagmites, columns and petrified cascades. In the lower cave, travel by boat on the tranquil underground river. Open every day 9am-6pm, closed 12-2pm.

In Les Grottes de Gargas Stone Age hunters, 27,000 years ago, made cave paintings and etchings of animals. They also left more than 200 hand prints, all with missing or incomplete fingers.Open every day 9am-6pm, closed 12-2pm.
